Joshua Kenneth Scherer, age 33, passed away unexpectedly on January 14th, 2026.

Josh was born July 5th, 1992, in Grand Rapids, Minnesota. He was brought up on a small farm in Cohasset with his dad, mom, brothers Ben and Zach.

Josh was a son that was loved immensely, a brother, nephew, and uncle who lived a life with wins and losses. He worked at Marvin Windows in Fargo for the last three years. Josh was known for his good work ethic as a skilled worker who worked well with his hands.

He loved the Lord early as a child, teenager and young man. He enjoyed camping, hunting, and spontaneous laughter. Josh loved his two Harley motorcycles and enjoyed many trips throughout the years.

He is survived by parents Chuck and Sue Scherer, brother Ben Scherer (Kylie, Harlowe), brother Zach Scherer (Abi, Blaire, Corrie) as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Josh is preceded in death by his Scherer grandparents (Ken and Rose), Klegstad grandparents (Gordon and Marlene), nephew Riley, and Aunt Peggy Klegstad.

A funeral service will be held at Grace Bible Chapel located at 2452 County Road 76 Grand Rapids, MN on February 7th. Visitation at 10:00AM. Funeral at 11:00 AM. Lunch to follow.
