Joseph Reif

Joseph Henry Reif, age 74, of Fargo, ND passed away in his home on November 29, 2010. Proceeded in death by his parents: Alfred and Gladys Reif and four sisters: Patricia, Mary Jane, Cleone, and Barbara. Survived by his wife Marianne Reif; his five daughters: Loreen, Deb, Sandy, Cheryl, and Jennifer; twelve grandchildren: Leah, Jim, Kristin, Cody, Nathan, Maggie, Laura, Shaun, Caleb, Nolan, Peyton, Michelle and Doug; two great grandchildren: Brayden and Emma; son-in-laws: Randy, Nick, and Issam; and his brother: Tim Reif; and many other nieces and nephews. Joe grew up in Moorhead, MN. He went to school in Moorhead, MN. He sold newspapers when he was younger. He met Marianne Blasl from Casselton, ND in 1957 and they were married March 22, 1958. Joe was in the military for 2 years, serving in the Army in Tacoma, WA. Joe worked for many years driving a truck for Elliot Meats. He later started working for Concord Manufacturing driving a forklift for 20 years, until retirement. After retirement, Joe enjoyed getting together with friends for coffee out at Petro, where they’d visit a couple times each day. Joe took great pride in his family and talked of them frequently. He always made time for his grandchildren and was sure to go to the many events they were in. He was loved and will be sadly missed.
