John “Jack” Schwer, 87, of Fargo died Saturday, May 4, 2013 at Elim Care Center, Fargo, ND.

Jack was born August 29, 1925 in Ann Arbor, Michigan to John and Celia (Williams) Schwer. He graduated from high school in Berkeley, California and from college at NDAC where he was a member of Sigma Chi fraternity. During World War II he served as a tech sergeant in Army Intelligence G2 in Korea. Jack was employed as a trust officer for Bank of America in San Francisco until his retirement when he returned to Fargo.

He is survived by his sisters, Janet Foss, Fargo; Carol (Lambert) Hirsheimer, Danbury, Connecticut; and beloved nieces and nephews.
