Obituary

John Robert Schultz, known as Jack, died Sunday, April 5, 2015 at Sanford Medical Center in Fargo.

Jack was born September 20, 1954 to JC Schultz (Jack) and Ethel Jane Schultz in Fargo. He graduated from Fargo North High in 1973. Upon graduation, he spent time living and exploring Boston and southern California before returning to North Dakota. He went on to work for family with Schultz Construction Company and was later co-owner of Dakota Bridge Builders. Jack married Deb Anderson in 1983, they made their home in south Fargo. In 2001 his work and interests took him to New Town, North Dakota. He married Carol Two Crow and he worked for the city of New Town.

Jack was a free spirit who enjoyed the pursuit of life in his own way and on his own terms. He cherished his time fishing on Pelican Lake. He loved the peace, solitude and landscape of western North Dakota. He could often be found creating music and playing his favorite guitar. Jack wasn't a man of many words but his voice was always heard and his words were kind.
