Jeannette "Jean" Enright

Jean Enright, born in Flushing, New York, in 1947, passed away in Moorhead, Minnesota, on November 7, 2025, at the age of 78.

Jean’s life was a complex journey — one marked by strength, candor, and moments of hard-won tenderness. Those who knew her best experienced both her fierce spirit and her deep capacity for love, especially in her role as “Grandma Jean.”

She is survived by her sister Elaine of New York; her son Donn Jr. of Oregon; her daughter Juliette; and her grandchildren, Pierce and Grayson of North Dakota.

May she find the peace and gentleness in rest that eluded her in life, and may those she leaves behind carry forward the lessons of endurance, truth, and grace.
