Helen Soltis, age 97, died at Berkley Court, in Livonia MI, on Tuesday January 4th, 2011. Born September 22, 1913 in Warren, Minnesota to George and Mary Ferencik. In 1934 she was united in marriage to John M Soltis. They had one daughter, Norma Ruth. They moved to Fargo in 1938. Helen outlasted every job she took. The companies all ceased operation. In 1970, she started working with General Nutrition. That was the last job she took, until she retired at approximately 71 years old. Helen was a member of First Lutheran Church for over 50 years. Helen will be especially remembered for being a strong and loving wife, mother, and grandparent. Survivors include Robin J Rayburn, granddaughter, and Robert J Rayburn, husband in Katy, TX. Helen was preceded in death by her husband, John and daughter, Norma. Also she was preceded in death by her parents, George and Mary Ferencik; a brother George Jr and sisters Anna, Sophia, Lena, Esther, Millie, and Ruth. Memorial Services will be held at a later date at First Lutheran Church, Fargo, ND. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, Fargo ND.
