Helen Kruse, 92, Fargo, died on Sunday, July 1, 2018 at Bethany on University.

Helen Louise Andersen was born March 15, 1926 in Barlow, North Dakota to Carl C. and Laura M. (Olsen) Andersen. The family moved to Oberon, ND in 1927. Helen attended school grades 1 through 11 then moved to Fargo in 1943 and graduated from Central High School in 1944. She began working at Northwestern Bell Telephone Co. in 1945 and held various positions in Accounting and Executive Departments, retiring in August 1982 with over 30 years of service. On Sept. 21, 1946 she married Henry Kruse in Fargo, ND. He died January 6, 2013.

Helen was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America and St. John Lutheran Church in Fargo.

She is survived by her son, David (Nancy) Kruse, West Fargo, ND; daughter, Diane Branch, Brainerd, MN; and four grandsons, Micheal (Kim) Raymond, Derrick (Jessica) Raymond, Darren (Alicia) Kruse, Justin Kruse; and eight great-grandchildren, Jeffrey, John, Natalie, Morgan, Maida, Maximus, Elise, Henry.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry and her parents.
