Harold Schelske, 90, of Fargo, ND, died Sunday, August 17, 2008, at Innovis Hospital, Fargo, ND. Harold was born August 10, 1918 at Woodworth, ND to Gottlieb and Louisa (Schatz) Schelske. He grew up on the family farm and attended country schools. Harold worked for the railroad before going to work for Rott-Keller Supply in Fargo, retiring after 28 years. Harold enjoyed woodworking, gardening, hunting, fishing, traveling and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Harold is survived by his special friend, Carol Jensen; son, Gary (Mary Ann) Thornberg, Havana, ND; daughter, LeAnn (Roger) DuBois, Casselton, ND; brother, Ben Schelske, Oceanside, CA; sister, Esther Holzworth, Mariposa, CA; and grandchildren: Jon (Amy) DuBois and Gabrielle and Charlie, West Fargo, ND; Danielle (Shawn) Erdmann, West Fargo, ND; Peggy (Curt) Braun and Dane, Riley and Katie, Wheaton, MN; Patty (Jerry) Woytassek and Ashley and Andrew, Milnor, ND; Julie (Brian) Rostvet and Alexa and Taylor, Park River, ND; Jodi (Daric) Pfingsten and Tyson, Logan and Hunter, Elbow Lake, MN. Harold is preceded in death by his wife, Inez; his parents; sisters, Sarah Krein, Martha Warren and Bertha Fox; and brothers, Reuben and Ervin Schelske. Funeral Service: Thursday, August 21, 2008 at 10:00AM at Elim Lutheran Church, Fargo, ND. Visitation: Wednesday, August 20, 2008 from 5-7PM at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home, Fargo, ND. Prayer Service: Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at 7PM at the funeral home. Burial: Riverside Cemetery, Fargo, ND.
