Harold Sather, 87, of Gardner, ND, died Sunday, July 28, 2007, at his home. Harold G. Sather was born April 27, 1920, to Christopher and Oliver Sather in Fortuna, North Dakota. He was raised in many places across the U.S. Harold was an over-the-road trucker. He lived in Gardner, ND for 30 years. Harold was married to Vivian Kruesel Sather for over 59 years. He is survived by his wife, Vivian Sather. Harold is also survived by three sons, Harold (Teresa) Sather, Mapleton, ND; Larry (Paula) Sather, Roland Heights, CA; Randy (Tammy) Sather, Douglas, WY; two daughters, June (Jim) Craig, Mesa, AZ; Diane (Bruce) Higdem, Fargo, ND; one sister, Pearl Smaaladen, West Fargo, ND; 15 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Ruth, and four brothers. Funeral Service: Thursday, August 2, 2007, at 1 PM, at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home Chapel, Fargo, ND. Burial: Tower City Cemetery, Tower City, ND.
