Gary Odegaard

Gary W. Odegaard, 68, of Bemidji, MN, passed away Saturday, January 7, 2012 at Sanford Palliative Care Unit, Fargo, ND, following a stroke. Gary was born to Oscar and Thelma (Evenson) Odegaard, February 9, 1943 in Thief River Falls, MN. He graduated from Lincoln High School in Thief River Falls and the University of Minnesota. He served in the Vietnam War. He retired from Graco. Gary is survived by two sisters, Mae (John) Fincher and Shirley (Stan) Michal; brother, Oscar (Shirley) Odegaard; six nephews, Jeff (Janice), Clinton, Erik (Vicky), Joe (Catherine), Bill (Karen) and John and two nieces, Annette and Sonya. Memorials preferred to Thief River Falls Education Foundation - 230 LaBree Ave. S. Thief River Falls, MN 56701. No services are planned. Dearest brother, rest in peace.
