Fred James Harrington

Fred Harrington, 71, of Fargo, ND, died peacefully on Monday, May 14, 2018 at Sanford Health in Fargo.

Fred James Harrington was born March 20, 1947 in Fargo, ND to Wayne and Margaret (Hector) Harrington. He attended schools in Fargo and graduated from Fargo Central High School. He then received a BS Degree in teaching from NDSU, after which he enlisted in the US Navy where he served on the aircraft carrier USS Intrepid.

Fred owned and operated Northwest Ceramics in Fargo for many years. He then went on to work for Grants Mechanical until his retirement. Fred loved spending time at the lake with his family and friends.

Fred is survived by his significant other, Dolly Thorsell; children, Anissa Harrington, Holmdel, NJ; Heidi Harrington, Fargo, ND; grandchildren, Courtnie Krautheim, Bethlehem, PA; and Hunter Harrington, Fargo, ND.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Margaret.
