Obituary
Frances Timian, 109, of rural Hawley, MN, formerly of Barnesville, MN, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 8, 2016 at her daughter’s home in rural Hawley.
Frances Margaret Pubanz was born February 25, 1907 in Moorhead, MN to Gustave and Barbara (Purpur) Pubanz. She graduated from high school in Ada, MN and worked at a telephone company in Grand Forks, ND. Frances married Eldor A. Timian on June 22, 1940 in Grand Forks, ND.
She was a longtime member of Ascension Lutheran Church in Moorhead, MN.
Frances is survived by her children, Barbara Ronsberg, Hawley, MN; Lois (Ron) Fitzner, Fergus Falls, MN; Paul (Connie) Timian, Alpine, CA; son-in-law, John Fitzner; eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and many nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eldor; daughter, Marilyn Fitzner; granddaughter, Elizabeth Fitzner; brother, George Pubanz; and son-in-law, Curtis Ronsberg.
The family would like to thank all of the special people that have been a part of Frances’ life.
Memorials are preferred to Ascension Lutheran Church in Moorhead.
