Floyd Kenneth Carpenter was born on November 8, 1927 to Andrew and Inga (Nelson) Carpenter
He graduated from Moorhead High School. He was a custodian in the Moorhead Public Schools.
Floyd died on Thursday July 21, 2016 at Golden Living Center in Moorhead MN
Floyd is survived by his daughter, Cathy (Gary) Breyer, Fargo, ND; son, Mike (Diane) Carpenter, Naples FL; grandchildren, Matthew Breyer, Fargo, ND, Sarah Breyer, Moorhead, MN, Chad Carpenter, West Fargo, ND, Carrie Carpenter St. Louis, MO, Joe Thorson, Minneapolis, MN, and Travis Thorson, Fargo, ND; great-grandchildren, Siena, Onika, Mya, Addy, Tori, Garyn and Lila; Brother, Roland, and sisters Marlys (Duane) Carpenter, Delores (Lynn) Oleson; and sister-in-law, Beverly Pegg.
Floyd was preceded in death by his beloved wife Edna, his parents, two brothers, Charles and Donald, sister Lorraine Moen, grandson, Tom Thorson, and great-granddaughter Carliegh Carpenter.
He graduated from Moorhead High School. He was a custodian in the Moorhead Public Schools.
