Evelyn R. Mayland, 74, of Fargo, died February 24, 2016 at Sanford Health, Fargo, ND.
Evelyn was born September 14, 1941 to Harry and Rosa (Eberle) Stearns in Riverton, WY. She attended school in Pavillion, WY. She worked at Temple Drug in Riverton, WY.
She married Paul Mayland on June 18, 1961 in Riverton, WY. They raised their two children in Fargo. She worked at DeLendrecie's and NorthWest Fabrics. She enjoyed crafting and quilting.
She is survived by her husband, Paul; two children, Bruce (Katie) Mayland, Hallock, MN and Becky Miller, Lakeville, MN; siblings, Marilyn (Harold) Mayland, Centennial, CO and Nancy Stearns, Riverton, WY; and three grandchildren, Nicole, Rose, and Jesse.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, John, Richard, and Jerry Stearns.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Immanuel Lutheran Church or the Roger Maris Cancer Center.
