Evelyn J. "Evie" Erickson passed away August 25, 2019. She lived in Fargo since graduating from high school in Fertile, MN in 1941. She retired from government civil service after many years of employment with the Veterans Administration, the Federal Housing Administration, the Internal Revenue Service, and the U.S. Marshals Service. She was a member of Olivet Lutheran Church for 66 years, where she participated in many service activities and did volunteer work for Bethany Towers, Helping Hands, and the Hjemkomst Center.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harris in 1980. She is survived by her son, Roger (Norma) of Menlo Park, CA, her grandchildren, Karl (Chelsea) of Baltimore, MD and Anna (Aubrey) of Seattle, WA, and an extended family of nieces and nephews. She was a naturally optimistic person who always enjoyed life.

Memorials are preferred to Olivet Lutheran Church in Fargo or a charity of your choice.
