Ms. Emma Viola Armstrong, 95, Fargo, died October 7, 2014 at ManorCare in Fargo, ND.
Emma was born October 2, 1919 in Crookston, MN, the daughter of Harry and Blanche (Lamson) Armstrong. She attended grade school at Euclid, MN, went to Business College in Grand Fords, ND, and worked at various jobs, including many years in Winnipeg, before securing a secretarial position at NDSU. She retired from there in 1981.
Emma is survived by her niece, Janice (Duane) Olson, Thief River Falls, MN; nephew, Don (Vera) Armstrong, Michigan; many other nieces and nephews; and her dear friend, Phyllis Crowe, Fargo, ND.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 4 brothers (Leslie, Ray, Frank, Jack); and her sister, Pearl Ballek.
