Eleanore G. Olslund, 91, Fargo, ND, died Thursday, August 8, in Ecumen Evergreens under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley.

Eleanore Olslund was born April 15, 1928 in Portland, ND to Carl and Betsy Olson. On March 1, 1948 she married Robert Olslund. They made their home in Fargo and later in West Fargo, ND. In 1957, they purchased Hintz Fire Equipment. In 1986 Elly and Bob retired. They spent their winters in Arizona and summers on Wall Lake near Fergus Falls and in Detroit Lakes, MN before moving to Dilworth, MN and later to Fargo, ND.

Eleanore is survived by her sons, Steven (Leanne) of Ottertail, MN and Bradley (Sherry) of Lakeville, MN; five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. She is also survived by four sisters: Irene, Lorraine, Marjorie and Harriet and one brother, Hartvick. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert; daughter, Rebecca Saunders and two brothers, John and Carl Jr.
