Eleanore Dahl, 93 of Fargo, ND passed away on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at Sanford Palliative Care.

Eleanore was born on September 27, 1925 in Steele County ND, Golden Lake Township to Theodore and Agnes Pederson. She graduated from Portland High School in 1944. She married Purdin Dahl on September 14, 1946. They started Portland Meats and Locker where they worked side by side. A few years later they started the Portland Hartz Store which she took care of herself. In 1974 they moved to Fargo, ND and worked at Mister Donut for a few years.

Purdin passed away January 9, 2012. They had 65 wonderful years together.
Eleanore will be sadly missed by her daughters, Linda (Richard) Muir of Portland, ND and Wendy of Fargo, ND; sons, Larry of Portland, ND, Daryl of Fargo, ND and Dale (Tammy) of Rapid City, SD; daughter-in-law, Denise of Park Rapids, MN; sisters, Norma Hogfoss of Portland, ND, Ardie (Glen) Hegstad of Orange City, IA and brother, Ted (Arlene) Pederson of Palm Desert, CA; eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her husband; her parents; son, Loren; grandson, Dean; great-granddaughter, Adrienne and niece, Karen.
