Eileen Ell

Eileen Ell, 88, of Fargo, ND, (formerly of Forest River, ND) passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2009, while staying with her son, Mike Ell, and his family in Bismarck. Eileen Elsie Woods was born July 14, 1920, to the late Walter and Myra (Jamieson) Woods in Forest River, North Dakota. She graduated from the Forest River High School in 1937. On January 31, 1959, she married Carl Ell in Fargo, North Dakota. Eileen was a member of United Chapter #19 Order of Eastern Star. She was a member of the Forest River American Legion Auxiliary, VFW Auxiliary Fargo and Faith United Methodist Church, Fargo. She enjoyed working in her yard and going to the lakes in Minnesota. She and her husband, Carl, spent many summers at their cabin at Ice Cracking Lake. Eileen is survived by her son, Mike (Lana) Ell, Bismarck, ND; granddaughter, Kathryn; grandson, Jacob; and great-granddaughter, Aubree, all of Bismarck, ND; brother, John M. (Margaret) Woods, Forest River, ND; sister-in-law, Margaret M. Woods, Forest River, ND; sister-in-law, Dorothy Ell, Fargo, ND; 10 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Carl; brother, Robert G. Woods; sister, Annette Woods; and great-nephew, John M. Woods. Memorials are preferred to the American Legion Auxiliary in Forest River, ND or the VFW Auxiliary of Fargo, ND or Faith United Methodist Church, Fargo, ND. Funeral Service: Saturday, May 2, 2009, at 3:00 PM, at Faith United Methodist Church, Fargo, ND.
