Effie Kalk, 102, of Fargo, ND, died Saturday, June 16, 2012, at Emmanuel Nursing Home, Detroit Lakes, MN.
Effie Irene Row was born March 16, 1910, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, daughter of George J. and Irene (Moyer) Row. She moved to Minnesota and attended school in Roseau. She lived in Fargo, North Dakota, since 1926.
Effie married Rudolph “Dutch” Kalk in 1942, in Moorhead, MN. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Fargo, ND.
Effie is survived by her daughter, Delores (Jack) Ramsey, Rushville, IL; two grandsons, Tim Ramsey, Lake Dallas, TX; and Mark (Colleen) Ramsey, Meredosia, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dutch; and daughter, Arlene.
Memorial Service: Monday, June 25, 2012, at 10:00 AM, at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home, Fargo, ND.
