Edwin Peter Wanner, 90, of Fargo, died Saturday, November 12, 2016 in Sanford Health, Fargo, ND.
Edwin P. Wanner was born August 23, 1926 in Wishek, ND, to John and Magdalena (Raile) Wanner. He attended school near Wishek and Elliott, ND.
In 1944 he entered the US Army and served in the Asiatic Pacific Theatre during World War II.
Following his military discharge in 1946, he returned to his parents farm near Verona, ND, where he farmed until 1959.
In 1960 he moved to Fargo, ND where he was employed as a truck driver for a West Fargo feed company until his retirement.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Alvin, Emil and a stillborn brother; sister, Magdalena Jacobson; brother-in-law, Arthur Jacobson and sister-in-law, Gladys Wanner.
He is survived by four nieces, Laura (Jacobson) Weisz, Linda Jacobson, Mary (Jacobson) Fetsch, and Shirley (Wanner) Pauna, and nephew, Gary Wanner.
