Edna Carpenter, 81, of Moorhead, MN, died Saturday, February 12, 2011 at Essentia Health, Fargo, ND. Edna was born October 9, 1929 in rural Cavalier, ND to Clarence and Emma (Steile) Otterson. She graduated from Oak Grove High School in Fargo, ND. She was a bookkeeper at Concordia College. She is survived by her husband, Floyd; daughter, Cathy (Gary) Breyer, Fargo, ND; son, Michael (Diane) Carpenter, Naples, FL; grandchildren, Matthew Breyer, Fargo, ND, Sara (Boris) Perencevic, Fargo, ND, Chad Carpenter, Fargo, ND and Carrie Carpenter, St. Louis, MO; great-grandchildren, Siena, Mya and Onika; and sister, Beverly (Herbie) Pegg. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, Calvin, Earl, Russel and Gordon and two sisters, Joyce Reiter and Norma Graham. Funeral: Wednesday, February 16, 2011, 10:00 AM at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home, Fargo, ND. Visitation: One hour prior to services at Hanson-Runsvold. Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fargo, ND.
