Eddie J. Egeberg, 97, of Fargo, ND, went home to be with his Lord Wednesday, April 2, 2008, at Rosewood on Broadway, Fargo. Eddie John Egeberg was born April 29, 1910, near Cyrus, Minnesota, where he grew up and attended school. He married Clara M. Roe February 19, 1943. He was employed as a baker and cook at the Veteran’s Hospital for 40 years, retiring from that position in 1978. He served his country during WWII in the Pacific Theater for three and a half years. He was a long time member of Pontoppidan Lutheran Church. Eddie was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Clara, Fargo, ND; his son, Duane Egeberg, Fargo, ND; his daughter, Dorothy (James) Bankers, Kennesaw, GA. Memorial Service: Friday, April 4, 2008, at 1:00 PM, at the Kaya & Elmer Berg Chapel at Rosewood on Broadway, Fargo, ND. Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fargo, ND.
