Earl E. Johnson, 84, of Fargo, ND, died Friday, February 22, 2015 at Sanford Health in Fargo, ND.
Earl was born May 17, 1930 in rural Kindred, ND. He was the son of Olander and Meta (Podratz) Johnson. He attended school in Kindred and graduated in 1948. He worked for Western Electric, now Lucent Technology, until his retirement in 1983.
He married Marcella Weik on October 15, 1955.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and enjoyed the time he was able to spend outdoors.
He is survived by his wife, Marcella Johnson, Fargo, ND; daughters, Bonnie (Tim) Doyle, Fargo, ND; Michelle Williams, Tulsa, OK; grandchildren, Tiffany (Darren Werness) Doyle, Fargo, ND; Jasmine Doyle, Fargo, ND; Blake Williams, Breckenridge, CO; brothers, Duane (Crystal) Johnson, San Jose, CA; Roger (June) Johnson, Fargo, ND; sister, Barbara Johnson, Fargo, ND; sister-in-law, Janice Johnson, Fargo, ND; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Olander and Meta; brother, Paul; brother-in-law, Alvin Johnson; and nephew, Steven Johnson.
