Douglas Howard Hanson

Douglas Howard Hanson, 65 of Fargo, North Dakota, died Sunday January 26, 2014 at Sanford Hospital in Fargo, North Dakota. Doug was born in Fargo, ND on October 22, 1948 to Howard and Betty (Anderson) Hanson. He graduated from Fargo North High School. He found employment through Vocational Rehabilitation, and also for Fargo Parks and Recreation as scoreboard keeper and diamond maintenance.

He had many interests and talents. Doug was truly one of a kind. He enjoyed spending time with family and traveling. He especially enjoyed working the DJ booth at his cousin’s resort and lodge. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Doug is survived by brothers, Steven (Eldean), and Michael all of Fargo, ND; 5 nephews and nieces, Andrew, Suzanne, Amy, Michael, and Betsy; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Betty; and brothers, Dennis and Gregory.
