Dorothy Tronnes, 92, of Horace, ND, died Saturday, January 9, 2016 at Villa Maria Nursing Home in Fargo, ND.
Dorothy Adeline Olson was born to George and Tina (Kleven) Olson in Fargo, ND where she was raised. She married Clark Smeby in 1945.
On October 27, 1954 Dorothy was united in marriage to Oscar Tronnes Sr. They lived and farmed near Wild Rice, ND where they raised their family.
She is survived by her brothers, George and William; sister, Deeloise (Tom) Hanson; daughter, Sandra; son, Oscar Jr. (Jan) Tronnes; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Sr.; daughter, Marilyn; siblings, Irene, Robert “Bud”, Fern, Earl, Kenneth, Betty, Annabella, and Junior.
