Dorothy Gronland, 82, Fargo, ND, died peacefully on Wednesday, October 22, 2008 at Eventide Lutheran Home, Moorhead, MN. Dorothy Elma Gronland (Howe) was born on March 24, 1926 in Fargo, ND. She attended high school at Fargo Central High School. She married Kermit Gronland in Fargo in 1941. For most of her life, she worked as a clerk at deLendrecies and then Herberger’s until her retirement at the age of 65. She was a family person and will be missed by those she loved. Dorothy is survived by her husband, Kermit; children, Larry Gronland, Destin, FL; and Barbara Gronland-Toth, Seattle, WA; 5 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Mark. Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
