Dorothy Delger, 95, of Fargo, ND, passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2022 at her home in Fargo.

Dorothy Ruth Lillian Geiszler entered this world on August 10, 1926 in Glyndon, MN, born to Gottlieb and Margaretha (Schmierer) Geiszler.

Dorothy married Leland Delger on October 23, 1948 in Moorhead, MN. They lived in Southern California where they raised their daughter, Suzanne, and in 1987 they moved back to Fargo to be closer to their daughter and family. She was a homemaker and was involved in PTA, Girl Scouts, and Sunday School.

She and Leland were married for 65 years at the time of his death in 2013.

She is survived by her daughter, Suzanne; her grandson, Ian; brother, Ramon; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leland; four sisters; and five brothers.

Funeral Service: 2pm, Thursday, April 28, 2022 at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home, Fargo, ND, with a Visitation one hour prior.

Burial: Riverside Cemetery, Fargo, ND
