Donna M. Pladson, 78, of Fargo, ND, died Saturday, April 17, 2010, at MeritCare Hospital of Fargo. Donna M. Berglund was born February 26, 1932, in Fargo, North Dakota, daughter of Frank and Emma (Thorp) Berglund. Donna grew up in Fargo and graduated from Fargo Central High School. She also attended business school in Fargo. Donna married Verne Pladson December 17, 1960, in Fargo, ND. She worked as a bookkeeper for several Fargo businesses. She enjoyed cooking, baking, canning and gardening. She loved animals, especially, cats and dogs and never missed an episode of Wheel of Fortune. Donna is survived by her daughter-in-law, Linda Quandt and granddaughter, Robyn (John) Bagu, all of Fargo, ND; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Verne; son, Kenneth; siblings, Homer “Bud” Berglund and wife Barb; Richard “Dick” Berglund; Carol Allen; baby brother, Kenneth Berglund. Funeral Service: Saturday, April 24, 2010, at 11:00 AM, at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home, Fargo, ND. Visitation: One hour before the service. Burial: Riverside Cemetery, Fargo, ND.
