Diana Dee Buzick, Age 81, passed away on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at Sanford Hospital in Fargo, ND.

Diana (Dee) was born on October 10, 1944, in St. Paul, MN, to Frank and Grace Mayo. During her childhood, Dee and her parents moved to Enderlin, ND, where she attended Enderlin Public Schools.

Dee met Gary Buzick in Fargo, ND. After a brief courtship, they married in 1964 and had three daughters, Jessica, Joni, and Jill. Dee worked at General Nutrition as a packager. She also provided samples of various products at grocery stores until her retirement.

Dee loved to visit relatives in the Lake of the Woods, MN, where she enjoyed the scenery and solitude of the lake and trees. Dee also enjoyed spending time in her ceramic classes, where she created a variety of ceramic pieces. Dee loved spending time in her craft room, where she designed and collected a variety of craft pieces.

Dee is survived by her husband of 61 years, Gary Buzick; daughters, Jessica Buzick and Jill Buzick; brother, Frank Egan; sister-in-law, Terri Chale Egan; nephews, Sam and William Egan; and many cousins, friends, and neighbors.

Dee was preceded in death by her father, Frank Mayo; mother, Grace Egan; stepfather, Frank Egan; her daughter, Joni Buzick; and many aunts and uncles.

Dee underwent a courageous battle of Stage 4 Lung Cancer and a host of other illnesses. She spent her final moments at Sanford Hospital Emergency Room, where she was surrounded by family and caring nurses and doctors. Many thanks to all our coworkers, neighbors, friends, and family who offered support and kind words to us during this very difficult time.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home, located at 215 7th St. South in Fargo, ND 58103. Visitation will be at 2:00 P.M., and the Memorial Service will be at 3:00 P.M.
