Delores Otterson, 91 of Fargo, ND went to her Heavenly Home on Wednesday, May 15, 2024. We thank her caregivers at Eventide and Hospice.

Delores Inez Schrenk was born July 31, 1932 to Ernest and Anna Schrenk in Ventura, SD. She had two younger sisters, Lucille and Gloria.

Delores married the love of her life, Orel Otterson in 1950 and they spent nearly 50 years together. They lived in Fargo and Mapleton, ND where they raised 5 children; Orville (Diane), Betty (Chuck Berg), Tammy Grondahl, Nancy (Bradly Snell) and Randy. Adding to the family are 12 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.

They enjoyed many weekends camping at the lakes. Delores worked for many years in the Mapleton school system, and later, cleaning homes for others.

Preceding her in death are her parents, husband Orel, son Randy, grandson Paul Berg, sister Lucille and son-in-law Donald Grondahl.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, June 1 from 2-3:30 at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home, followed by a graveside service at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Fargo.
