Della Marie Pearson

Della Marie was born September 9, 1924 in Oakes, North Dakota to Nels and Clara (Swanson) Anderson. She grew up on her parent’s farm and attended schools in the Oakes area, graduating from Oakes High School in June, 1942. She worked at the Oakes Creamery before moving to Fargo and taking a job with Northwestern Bell Telephone Company.

She was married to Bob Pearson on November 13, 1955 at Grace Lutheran Church in Oakes, ND.

Della Marie passed away April 27, 2015 at the Isle at Watermere, Southlake, TX.

She is survived by her son, Don (Sherry Wagner) Pearson; daughter, Mary Jane Cooper; two grandsons, Ross and Brady Pearson and one granddaughter, Kjersti Cooper. A sister-in-law, two nephews and two nieces also survive her.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and brothers, Alvin, Earl, Robert and Donald Anderson.

Della was a member of Elim Lutheran Church. She did volunteer work for the FM Emergency Food Pantry, Meals on Wheels, and Churches United for the Homeless.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Elim Lutheran Church.
