Delene A. Carlson, 70, of Fargo, ND, died Sunday, August 11, 2013 at Essentia Health, Fargo, ND.

Delene was born in Erie, ND to Marcus and Doris (Armstrong) Carlson. She graduated from high school in Page, ND. After high school, she started working for Northwestern Bell. She worked in various departments there and retired in the late 80’s.

Delene loved trying new and daring things, like flying and motorcycle riding. She loved reading, her pets and taking spontaneous road trips with her brother, Brian. She enjoyed the last few years living at One Oak Place. She made many new friends and enjoyed volunteering for lunch there.

Delene is survived by her siblings, Roger (Hazel) Carlson, Hernando, FL; Renee (Gary) Berg, Moorhead, MN; and Brian Carlson, Minot, ND; several nieces and nephews, whom she dearly loved.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Gerald; and infant sister, Diane Lou.
