Dawn Marie Larson, age 50, born Nov. 4, 1965, passed away April 15, 2016 in her home, surrounded by family.

Born: Dawn Marie Marek at St. Ansgar Hospital in Moorhead Minnesota.

Parents: Jerald Frank Marek (father) and Joan DeLaine McLaren (mother)

She attended MSUM to study social work.

Married David Larson October 6th, 1984. Dawn and David have 4 beautiful children, Brandon, Shilo, Marissa, and Kylee and they also welcomed a very special daughter Jayne into their loving family.

Worked as a housekeeper, dump truck driver, and for most her life a co-owner of Dragon's Lair Tattoos and Body Piercings.

She was a supporter of Prometheus Motorcycle Club and loved to riding with her husband and his Prometheus brothers and sisters. She was a proud voting member of the Elks Lodge #260. Dawn loved to spend time with her family, especially her beautiful granddaughter, Nevayah also known as, “Dixie Cup.” While she was with her family she loved to garden, make lots of crafts, and make delicious meals that everyone loved to eat. If you ate Dawns food, you had a love for garlic and butter. Throughout Dawn's beautiful life, she had a strong connection with God. The most important thing in her life was being a devoted wife, mommy, and friend to many. Her personality was one of a kind, she always made everyone feel so special. She had a unique bond with everyone she loved.

Dawn was preceded in death by her father, Jerald Marek, father in law, John Larson, brothers JD Marek and Joe Marek, brother in law Matt (DeLayna) Davitt, and nephew Cody Lee.

Survived by her husband David John Larson, son Brandon, daughters Shilo (Travis Nelson), Marissa (Stephon Johnson), Kylee, and Jayne (Kevin Hanson) and granddaughter Nevayah Ann Marie,

Siblings Roxane (Greg Score), Tracey Marek (Val), DeLayna (Matt Davitt), Wendy Lee, Roseanna (Matt) Kopperdahl, Nieces and Nephews: Jess, September, Jason, Kristi, Jared, Tracie, Gus (Gustov), Nikki, Kristen, Reno, Justin, Brandi, Chassie and many more 2nd and 3rd cousins. And special friend Donna Marts.

For those of you that would like to ride or drive the funeral we will be meeting at the Prometheus Motorcycle Club house (1871 11th St N, Moorhead) at 12:00pm for a short tribute. We will leave to the funeral at 1:30pm. Funeral will be held at Hanson Runsvold funeral home in Fargo at 3pm. Refreshments and Dinner will be served afterwards at the Fargo Elks.
