David Pederson, 74, of Moorhead, MN, passed away Sunday, April 5, 2026, at Sanford Hospice House in Fargo, ND.

David "Dave" Pederson was born December 23, 1951, in Fargo, ND, to Hartvik and Catherine (Anderson) Pederson. He attended Fargo schools and graduated from Fargo South High School in 1970. Dave began his career as an orderly at St. Luke's Hospital. In 1980, he moved to Minneapolis, MN, where he worked as a kidney dialysis technician. He later continued his career as a pharmacy technician, working both in the operating room and in the pharmacy.

Dave met the love of his life, Grace Rasco, and spent time traveling back and forth to the Philippines to be with her. About three and a half years ago, they became engaged, and Dave moved to the Philippines to begin their life together. They enjoyed traveling to many places throughout the Philippines, taking walks together, and spending time with Grace's family.

About a year and a half ago, Dave returned to Moorhead to receive treatment for his health. He enjoyed fishing and spending time at the lakes. He especially looked forward to his weekly trips to the casino with his brother-in-law, David, and nephew, Tyler. Dave will be remembered for his good nature, sense of humor, and deep love for his family.

Dave is survived by his fiancée, Grace; his sister, Kathy (David) Moe of Fargo, ND; nieces and nephews, Brianna (Tyler) Anderson, Jared Moe, Cassandra (Jason) Uphoff, and Danielle (Jason) Guy; great-nieces, Kaylee Anderson, Mollie Guy, and Katelyn Uphoff; and great-nephews, Benjamin Anderson and Oliver Guy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hartvik and Catherine.

Visitation will be from 6-8 PM, Thursday, April 9, 2026, at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home in Fargo, ND, with a Time of Sharing at 7:00 PM. The Time of Sharing will be livestreamed on the funeral home website.
