He was involved in scouts since he was in 1st grade and evolved into Scout Master. He held that position for 20+ years. Both his boys were in scouts with him. Camp was always exciting to him and he received many scout awards.

As his kids grew older, they went deer hunting every November with Sophia, Grandma Sherry, Grandpa Ken, and other family members. Fishing was another hobby when he had time to go.

Trips to Charleston and San Diego to visit Alex and his wife, Yessica, were highlights in the past few years and he wanted to go back to Charleston to see more of the sites.

Christmas's were always tradition at his childhood home with Marcus and Lynn, Alex and Yessica, Sophia, and his sister.

Many happy times he enjoyed with family and friends. (lots of food!)
