Darrell Weinkauf, 93, of Fargo, ND, died peacefully on Friday, February 12, 2016 at Villa Maria in Fargo.

Darrell Wayne Weinkauf was born January 8, 1923 in Fairmount, ND to August and Annie (Matejcek) Weinkauf. Darrell married Delores Wehner on February 2, 1942. They farmed in Fairmount until moving to Fargo in 1956, at which point Darrell began his work with the City of Fargo Water Department. He retired from the department as a Foreman after more than thirty years of employment.

Darrell loved antiques and collectibles, and was a charter member of the ND Pottery Collectibles Society. He was also very active in the Moose Lodge.

Darrell is survived by his son, Dennis Weinkauf, Fargo, ND; nephew, LeMoyne (Sharen) Propp; nieces, Joan (Michael) Pardy and Carol (Tim) Jahner; and sister-in-law, Elvonne (Pete) Erdahl.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Delores; daughter, Sherrill; sister, Lucille.
