Danna Tommeraus, 77, of Fargo, ND, was called to her eternal resting place on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at St. Catherine South in Fargo, under the care of Ethos Hospice.

Danna was born on March 11, 1949, in Fargo, ND, to Dean and Marion (Frostad) Haas. From an early age, she was raised by her grandparents, Andrew and Laura Frostad, in Kathryn, ND. She attended school in Kathryn and graduated from Kathryn High School in 1967. Following high school, she worked at a restaurant in Kathryn, where she met Allen Tommeraus on July 2, 1972. They were married on September 15, 1973, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Kathryn. They made their home in Fargo, where they raised their daughters, Amy and Jennifer.

Danna worked at Dakota Clinic as a receptionist before moving into the Business Office and later working in Information Systems. She enjoyed a long career there before retiring in 2010.

Danna loved the outdoors and enjoyed traveling and going on vacations. Some of her favorite trips included Hawaii, Europe, Cancun, Las Vegas, and numerous casino trips. She also enjoyed crossword puzzles and finding ways to keep her mind active and sharp.

Danna is survived by her husband, Allen Tommeraus; daughters, Amy Tommeraus and Jennifer (Todd) Schmidt; sisters, Bonnie Richards, Laurel Haas, Susan Haas, Becky Venishnick, Marsha Haas, and Kimberly Pelletier; and cousin, Rae Rieke.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Stanley Haas, and her parents.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 28, 2026, at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home in Fargo.
