Dana was born January 14, 1953 and passed away after a long battle with C.O.P.D. at Villa Maria on December 5, 2013.
Dana is survived by his brothers Robert (Marty) and Blaine Schaeffer, and sisters, Brenda Viou (Robert) and Susan Metcaf. He was preceded in death by his parents Joy and Robert Schaeffer.
