Cynthia Jean Johnson, 62, of Fargo, ND, passed away Monday, December 13, 2021, in her home.

Cindy was born August 30, 1959 in Fargo, ND to Arlene Smith Sandy and Edwin Eugene Johnson, Sr. Cindy attended Fargo South High School and Moorhead State University, Moorhead, MN where she studied general studies.

Cindy loved her children, Dustin and Jeremy Hackey, her grandchildren, Josie and Dalton, her family and her dogs. She enjoyed the outdoors, her music and her family get togethers.

Cindy worked as a Caregiver at Fraser Hall in Fargo. She also worked at Agassiz Junior High School in the kitchen and worked at the VA in Fargo.

Cindy is survived by her sons, Jeremy Hackey and Dustin (Rachel) Hackey; grandchildren, Josie and Dalton; mother, Arlene Sandy; sisters, Gayle (Leao) Erfle, Sandi (Darrell) Stahlecker, Karen (Darryl) Riegel, Chris (Jerry) Beaulieu; brother, Ed Johnson, Jr.; special friend, Paul Weixel and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She will truly be missed.

Cindy is preceded in death by her father, Edwin Johnson Sr., Aunt Audrey Longie and cousins, Susie Arneson and John Arechigo.
