It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden death of Cheryl Ann Fredrick, 68, of Fargo. Cheryl was born to Bernie and Marge Johnson on November 13, 1946 and died on December 20, 2014. She spent her entire life in Fargo, and will be missed by many she greeted as she walked through her days. Cheryl graduated from Fargo Central High in 1965. She then devoted nearly 50 years to her work at NDSU; first in the Food Service Department, and in later years making sure everything was immaculate as she cleaned the library and Daycare Center. Cheryl retired one month ago.

Cheryl was married to John Fredrick for 17 years, and was widowed in 2010. She was diligent and hardworking in all she touched, volunteering many hours at church and the Senior Center. The most important thing in her life was to walk humbly each day with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She appreciated a variety of Christian ministries, and attended Hope Lutheran Church, Fargo Baptist Church, Women’s Aglow Fellowship, and enjoyed helping in Alpha Ministry at Hope Lutheran.

Cheryl is survived by sisters, Barb (Mike) Rawalt of Anchorage, AK; and Marlene (Lucho) Espejo of Fargo; step-children, Justin & Marlo Fredrick; and granddaughter, Aislynn Fredrick.

Preceeding her in death was husband, John Fredrick, and parents Bernie and Marge Johnson.

Memorials are preferred to the Alpha Ministry at Hope Lutheran Church, Messiah Lutheran TV Ministry, and Fargo Senior Meals on Wheels.
