Carol Lussier, 85, died Sunday, May 27, 2018, at Rosewood on Broadway.
Carol Upton was born May 23, 1933 to Harold and Mary Upton. She grew up in Moorhead, MN and graduated in 1950 from Moorhead Central High School.
She married Allyn G. Banasik June 16, 1952. They were married for 31 years and raised three children. They made their home in Moorhead. Carol married Robert L. Lussier March 2002, divorcing in December 2003.
Carol worked throughout her whole life in women’s retail clothing stores and 25 years for Wal-Mart, retiring in 2011.
Carol is survived by two daughters; Vicki (Bruce) George, Audubon, MN and Mary Haskell, Fargo, ND; four grandchildren, Rozlyn (Jeremiah) Johnson, Jessi (Cody) Elliott, Ryan and Nick Haskell; and four great-grandchildren, Rowan, Konnor, Leyton and Grady Johnson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and son, Todd Banasik.
Special thank you to the staff at Rosewood and Eventide for their support and compassion the last years of her life. Thank you also to the staff at Hospice of the Red River Valley.
There will be a private family celebration of her life.
