Bruce Harris, 85, of Fargo, ND, died Monday, September 7, 2015 at Essentia Health in Fargo.

Bruce Goodman Harris was born November 20, 1929 to Asa and Blanche (Estby) Harris in rural Fargo, ND. He attended school in Fargo, and attended Moorhead State College before joining the ND Air National Guard in 1947.

On August 9, 1950, Bruce married Marilyn Bahe in Perley, MN. They raised their four children in Hickson, ND, and were presently members of First Congregational Church UCC.

Bruce is survived by his wife of 65 years, Marilyn; children, Joan (Ernie) Scramuzza, Simpsonville, SC; Terri (Stan) Anderson, Wall, SD; Peggy (Jim) Jensen, Marysville, WA; and Russell (Roxanne) Harris, Billings, MT; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Beata Harris; and brother, Ward Harris.
