Bernie Emerson, 68, of Fargo, ND, died Friday, May 18, 2018 at Palmetto General Hospital in Hialeah, FL.

Bernard Lynn Emerson was born December 13, 1949 in Fargo, ND to Earl and Virginia (Rieke) Emerson. Bernie married Marlene Suckut in July 1970 in Sisseton, SD.

Bernie is survived by his wife of 47 years, Marlene; sons, Bernie (Tracy) Emerson, Mora, MN; Robert (Laura) Emerson, Halstad, MN; grandchildren, Audri (Cody Schumacher), Bryce, Robert, Bailey, Ryan, and Sydney; brother, Earl (Loan) Emerson; and sister, Susan (Gene) Moe.

Bernie and Marlene made their home in Fargo where they raised their three sons. He made his living driving truck. Bernie enjoyed spending his free time with his family, camping, fishing and relaxing.

He was preceded in death by his son, Brian Emerson; parents, Earl and Virginia Emerson; brothers, Richard and Daryl Emerson and sister, Virginia Emerson.
