She is survived by her children: Michael Grindberg of Tallahassee, Florida; Michelle Smith Grindberg and grand daughter, Brooke Dakota; and Michele Grindberg-Meyer of Overland Park, Kansas, Joel Meyer, and grand daughter, Ella Grace. She is also survived by her brother, Delano Arneson of Fargo, as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ralph Grindberg; and her sisters, Dorothy, Virginia, and Gloria.

Belva worked throughout her career at several hospitals in Fargo, spending many years as a phlebotomist at the VA Hospital. She cherished working with patients, and the relationships and memories she made there reflected her deeply caring and giving nature.

She retired in the late 1990s and embraced a new chapter of life, moving from Fargo to Cotton Lake with her husband, Ralph. Together, they made the most of their time creating many fond memories filled with fun and companionship.

Belva was known for bringing people together, often organizing Super Bowl and World Series pools, and for her love of spending time with friends and family. She especially cherished traveling to visit her grandchildren, whom she adored.

She maintained many lifelong friendships, including dear friends Kay Gnoinsky and Bob Johnson, who were by her side throughout the past year.

Belva will be deeply missed by all who knew her and leaves behind a life made brighter and more joyful by her presence.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of HIA Hospice, especially her nurse, Lexy Hastings, for the compassionate care and support given to Belva and her family.
