Alton (Tony) Duane Aasen passed away at ManorCare in Fargo, Thursday, February 28, 2013.

Alton was born January 27, 1931 in Northwood, North Dakota, to Alfred and Christine (Steffenson) Aasen. He grew up and attended schools in Northwood until 1937, when the family moved to Grand Forks. In 1940, they moved to East Grand Forks where he continued his education. Alton attended Ackers Business College receiving a Junior Accounting diploma in 1958. He took a temporary job with a dental lab in Grand Forks. When that job was finished, his father sent out letters to the dental labs in the area on Alton’s behalf. He moved to Fargo in 1964 and took a position with Welu Dental Lab as a lab dental tech. He worked there until his retirement in 2006. Alton was known for his love of TV and watching movies.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Christine Aasen. He is survived by his sister Donna Lynch of Fargo.
