Albert Prosje

Albert Prosje, 79, of Fargo, ND, died Tuesday, November 6, 2007, at MeritCare Hospital. Albert Prosje was born in Racine, Wisconsin, on June 20, 1928, son of Peter and Sadie (Andrienga) Prosje. He attended school in Crookston and worked for farmers in the area. He served in the U.S. Army from 1951 to 1953. He worked for General Mills for a few years. He worked for Western Electric for 30 years. He then joined NDSU for 10 years. He retired in 1993. He was a proud member of the "chain gang" for the NDSU Bison football games, for upwards of 20 years. He enjoyed golfing and spending times with his friends. Albert is survived by his son, Bruce Prosje, Fargo, ND; his daughter, Gale (James) Hanzel, Fargo, ND; his son, Keith Prosje, Fargo, ND; his step-son, Alan (Mary) Franson, Fargo, ND; two grandchildren; two nephews; one nieve and one great-nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Sadie Prosje; two brothers, Clarence and Peter Prosje.
