Alan is survived by his wife, Dorothy (Dorman) Stowell, Fargo, ND; his children, Greg Nyland, Fargo, ND; Norman “Lee” (Becky) Nyland, Sabin, MN; Susan Jorschumb, Moorhead, MN; Sharon (Douglas) Daak, Detroit Lakes, MN; Jason (Jen) Stowell, George, IA; and Shane (Melissa) Stowell, Coon Rapids, MN; three sisters, Carol (Bob) Wood, Cambridge, MN; Sheila Stowell, Shoreview, MN; and Barbara Stowell, Shoreview, MN; 15 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
