Adam Geist, 77, Fargo, died Thursday, January 30, 1986. A funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday in the Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home Chapel, with burial at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fargo.

Mr. Geist was born May 23, 1907, at Tappen, ND. He grew up at Tappen and Napoleon, ND. He married Sarah Miller in 1936 at Napoleon. She died in 1946. He married Magdalena Mittleider on October 11, 1947, in Bismarck, ND. She died in 1981. He had farmed near Tappen until 1956, when he moved to Fargo.

He is survived by four sons and six daughters, Marvin, Harold, Melvin and Ernest, all of Fargo; Mrs. Oscar (Dorothy) Kroll, Bismarck, ND, Mrs. Gilbert (Elaine) Ward, Duluth, MN, Mrs. Carl (Lavonne) Schulz and Mrs. Charles (Betty Lou) Witt, both of Fargo, ND, Mrs. Willis (Arla Mae) Wiger, Pennsylvania, and Mrs. Conrad (Ada) Kondas, Moorhead, MN; two stepsons and three stepdaughters, Duane Miller, Fargo, ND, Ramond Miller, Horace, ND, Irene Kapp, Jamestown, ND, Mrs. Ralph (Delores) Kluth, West Fargo, and Mrs. Wayne (Mary Ann) Johnson, Sioux Falls, SD; a brother and three sisters, Art, Tappen, ND, Mrs. Melvin (Phillys) Enzminger, Belgrade, MT, Mrs. William (Alvina) Foster, Napoleon, ND, and Mrs. Jud (Millie) Nelson, Sioux Falls, SD; 27 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
