Steven Mark Scott passed away in his home on June 3rd, 2017. Steve was affectionately known as "The Beav" to his friends and co-workers, and Papa to his grandchildren he adored.

Steve grew up in Fargo and graduated from Fargo South High in 1971. He married his high school sweetheart, Susan DuBord in 1975, she has been by his side for 42 years. He was a devoted father to his 4 children; Sam, Jessie, Coleman and Jake.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leigh (PeeWee) and Frances Scott and his grandparents. Steve is survived by his beloved wife Susan and sister, Shannon Charpentier, his four children; Sam, Jessie Volk (Chad), Jake (Lori) of Fargo and Coleman (Melissa) of Oceanside, CA. He is also survived by his eight grandchildren; Hunter and Max Scott, Tayler and Rylie Scott, Piper and Norah Volk, Calleigh and Brooks Scott. Steve will be deeply missed by many, we are comforted knowing he is now reunited with many friends and family.

We invite you to join the family for a Celebration of Life on Friday, June 16th at the Oak Grove Park main shelter. The event will be held at 5:00pm - 7:00pm. There will be a short tribute to Steve at 5:00 pm where friends and family are welcome to share their stories.
